What Sets Us Apart

Supporting Role: We believe in listening to our clients and working together to develop solutions that meet their specific needs and goals. Our goal is to support and advise, not direct our clients.

Proven Results: We have a track record of helping First Nations achieve their child welfare goals.

Empowerment: We strive to empower First Nations to take control of their child welfare systems and make decisions that reflect their values. We work hand-in-hand with our clients, respecting their knowledge and expertise.

Collaboration: We believe everyone is working to keep families together while putting the child’s best interests at the forefront.  We work closely with child protection agencies, Indigenous social service organizations, First Nations and First Nation political associations to ensure that our clients’ needs are understood and their interests are protected.

Cultural Sensitivity: We recognize and honour the unique cultural traditions, practices, and geographic realities of each First Nation we serve.

Advocacy: We are dedicated to advocating for the rights of Indigenous children and families at all levels.
