Clara’s academic and professional interests focus on child protection, family law, and the intersection of human rights and systemic discrimination. She currently works as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Law, contributing to projects related to human rights and access to justice. Alongside her studies, she has worked for over three years as a support worker in a shelter for women and children experiencing abuse, where she also serves on the board of directors. She is also involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she has developed legal education resources for young mothers on custody rights in Ontario. Fluent in both French and English, she looks forward to supporting work with First Nations communities in child welfare matters. Outside her studies, Clara enjoys spending time outdoors, whether soaking in the sun on a walk, on the ski hill or horseback riding.
