Jaime Fortin

Articling Student
Jaime is an articling student who joined the firm in the fall of 2025. She grew up on the Chapleau Cree First Nation in Northern Ontario, but her family’s original roots are from Michipocoten First Nation and Brunswick House First Nation. Prior to beginning her articling term, she worked as a Band Representative, working closely to support children and families.
Jaime earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University in 2023. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Indigenous Studies and Gender Studies from Trent University. Outside of work Jaime enjoys golfing and spending time with her family.
